Walter (MFC16431), founded Genesis Counseling Service in 1978. Walter has worked with couples and families for the last 35 years, served on the faculties of several universities and has spoken at seminars and conferences throughout the world. He consults with churches and businesses as well as works as a Personal Life Coach with pastors and businessmen. He and his wife, Gayle speak at couples retreats and parenting seminars.
Stephanie Jefferson, Psy.D.
Stephanie holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from Biola University. Bringing a depth of experience in many aspects of clinical counseling, her strengths are in individual therapy, with specialties in children, adolescents and couples therapy.
Luda Leinster, MS.
Luda holds a M.S. in Clinical Psychology from CSU San Bernardino, (MFC36179). She has 14 years experience working with couples, individuals and families. Luda offers in-depth insights based on Biblical principles of spiritual and emotional health. She has expertise in: marriages or families in conflict, issues such as anxiety, depression, forgiveness, grieving losses and gender identity problems.
Tami Miller, MA
Tami is a registered Marriage and Family intern (IMF51647). Under the Supervision of Luda Leinster, MFT (#MFC36179) Her experience as a youth director and pastor's wife has given her a unique blend of passion and experience that she uses to help build healthy marriages and families. Tami has a B.A. from Biola University, and a M.A. in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She and her husband, Brad, have been married for twenty-two years and have two teenage daughters.
Susan Logan, MS.
Susan (MFC24526) graduated from California Baptist University with a degree in counseling psychology in 1984. On Genesis staff for twenty years, she is currently Director of the center in Ridgecrest. Susan specializes in marriage counseling and working with adolescents. She is married to Bill, who is pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church of Ridgecrest and they have 4 children.
Claudia is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC45920) She has experience in helping adults/children improve self-esteem. She works with children and adults with learning disabilities and facilitates child/teen adjustment to divorce. Claudia offers pre-marital counseling, teaches successful marital communication tools and helps teens/adults deal with gender preference issues
Brian Dale Holmes, MS.
Brian is a registered Marriage and Family intern (IMF50046). He counsels couples, individuals, teens and children. Brian teaches domestic violence intervention and has experience in the treatment of batterers. He also holds parenting groups for parents of troubled teens. Brian graduated from Cal Baptist University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Ted is a registered Marriage and Family intern (IMF51552). He specializes in helping men of all ages overcome difficult childhoods and become more like God created them to be. Eve Clayton, C.P.A.
Eve has served as Director of Operations for Genesis Counseling Service since 1988. In addition to her office duties, she conducts seminars on financial management and personal weight control. She has been married for 24 years and has two adult sons.
Teresa Preszler, BA, Receptionist
Teresa has a B.A. in Behavioral Science. With ever a friendly smile, she heads up the front office duties at Genesis. She is also involved in church ministry as a youth leader and currently oversees the young adult ministry at her church.
